The wait is officially over! Sample ballots for the upcoming General Election are now available as of yesterday, September 17th, giving Campbell County voters a front-row seat to see exactly who and what will be on the ballot this November.
What’s on the Ballot? From the Courthouse to Washington
This year’s ballot is packed with critical decisions that shape everything from our local infrastructure and healthcare to national representation. Taking a look at your sample ballot reveals a wide array of races:
- Local Leadership: Decisions for the City of Gillette include the Gillette Mayor and City Council seats across Wards 1, 2, and 3, as well as the Town of Wright Mayor and City Council. You’ll also be voting on Campbell County Commissioners who manage county-wide services and infrastructure.
- Community Boards & Public Services: Some of the most impactful decisions happen right here at home on our local boards. Your ballot will include races for the School Board, College Board of Trustees, Hospital Board, and the Cemetery Board.
- Statewide Leadership & Legislature: Voters will weigh in on races for Governor, Secretary of State, Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Wyoming House of Representatives.
- National Representation: You will cast your vote for U.S. Senate and U.S. Congress.

To get a sample ballot, you will need to stop into the Campbell County Election office at 500 S. Gillette Avenue, Suite 1602, Gillette, WY, or call the office at (307) 686-1892 to have a sample ballot mailed to you.
