Our Campbell County Democratic Central Committee is powered entirely by dedicated volunteers who step up to serve two-year leadership terms. These officers each oversee specific areas of responsibility, guiding our strategic planning and working tirelessly to protect our shared Wyoming values.
Chairwoman – Heidi Kennedy
I’m a lifelong Democrat, & every single day I wake up with the intention of doing at least one thing to make this world a little bit better & to change the landscape of the world we exist in. My goal is to make it just a little bit kinder & more beneficial for average citizens at the local, state, & national level. I’m happily married to my high-school sweetheart, Russ, & I’m the proud mother of five grown children & two teenage grandsons. For a living, I’m a food writer with a food blog & a cookbook, & for fun, I love to read, garden, & spend time with friends & family.
Vice Chairwoman AND Secretary – Karin Ebertz
I’m a proud Wyoming Democrat because I believe the party has better ideas & is more serious about tackling the real problems facing our state & country. Respecting the dignity & worth of all people is one of my core values. A common thread running through my life has been to reach out & include people in groups where they will find friendship, community, support, & hopefully work for something bigger than themselves. I’m married to my best friend, Dave, & between us we have 5 grown children & 3 grandkids. I’m a retired elementary teacher, & I love spending time with family & friends, being outdoors, gardening, walking, snowshoeing, & reading.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health & transparency of our organization, handling responsibilities such as maintaining financial records, managing contributions & expenditures, & preparing reports. State Committee Man – Billy Montgomery
A Missouri native, I proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971, including a tour in Vietnam as an Artillery Crew Member (1970-1971). After my military service, I dedicated 34 years to Burlington Northern Railway, later Burlington Northern Santa Fe, retiring as a Brakeman/Conductor. My commitment to community continued with nine years of service on the Gillette City Council.
